The workshop
Gaulier teaches theatre techniques that help people embrace their humanity. He tries to draw what’s not being boring out of every single one of his students. And always succeeds in doing so.
There is no particular method behind Gaulier's work. It is simply a search for man’s freedom, hiding behind façades, postures and conventions, waiting for it’s moment to come.
Gaulier will not allow his students to turn out really bad. He stops them in time. This is what turns every class into a master class. It pulls the blinds from our eyes, it makes us see in a new fresh light – and it’s just wonderfully human.
